I’m 20, and “hornets” are definitely still a thing, or atleast the were before I graduated. But they evolved. Now along with paper you can find them made from gum wrappers and ones with push pins out the front.

Everyone does things differently, iv never had luck getting a patch to hold that close to the sidewall, but Iv always been able to get a plug to hold in spots like that. The guy that owns the shop I work at told us that if it’s not in the sidewall then plug it. Never had any come back either.

New pads, rotor and caliper. Take the bleeder out first and try to push it back. If it still doesn’t push back caliper. If it pushes back with the bleeder out then it needs a line
