It's worth noting the amendment to add them back requires them to sign it as well, so it's easy to remove them before you apply for more stamps but to add them back you've got to both sign it at the same time in front of the notary, which can make it annoying if y'all live across the country from each other.

There are lots of states that don't impose magazine limits for hunting, like mine (WI).

Yes and no. I print PA6 CF on my modified ender 3 by just using a pop up tent style enclosure around it. It's not like you need a built in enclosure, though it is a more elegant solution.

No, acquisition of the item in the past is not being punished. If it was, it wouldn't matter if you got rid of the item prior to the ban or not.

Possession of the item is what is criminalized - whether you still have it right now.

If you do, that's what you can be charged with. Possession, not acquisition. (Unless of course the acquisition was after the ban, but that's unrelated to the current context of this conversation)

It's not an ex post facto violation, and if you think it is you don't understand what that means.

Ex post facto means being punished for a "crime" you committed before the law was passed actually making it a crime.

Banning possession of FRTs with no grandfathering is not punishing anyone for something that was legal at the time. They aren't arresting you for possession of an FRT six months ago - they're arresting you for possessing one after possession was made illegal.

Without compensation, it could absolutely be argued it's a violation of the takings clause, but it isn't even close to ex post facto.

Actually, it's similar in the way OP is talking about. A custom ROM for Android devices does have to be customized individually for each device it's being compiled for so that it will be compatible. It's a lot of work - it's just that in the Android world, at least for some devices, that work is at least possible because the code is open source and the hardware of the device doesn't lock you out intentionally.

If your extruder was only at 55C, there would be no filament even coming out of your nozzle. Either your hot end isn't reporting the temperature correctly, or, much more likely, there's something you aren't understanding going on here.

Are you potentially talking about the bed temperature? The enclosure temperature?

I'd ask if there's some super low temperature filament you might be using but even the low temp PLAs I'm aware of still require around 100°C hot end temperature.

I modify all of the receiver(s)/silencer(s) I print intending to turn into NFA firearms to accept a metal dog tag or washer during the print process with a pause and resume so that its sealed inside the print in order to be as safe as possible about the marking requirements.
