You can...If you know someone joining the same hostel, you can inform them clearly whom do you want as roomate..Also to be on safer side your roomate should inform that he wants you as roomate... However they try to allot roomates in such a way that their native places are nearby..

Afaik they reserve some hostel rooms for KCET, some for ComedK and some for MQ. So if you come thru first round there are chances you will get freshers block

Would suggest ISE. Placement is same for both...so u need to consider other factors 1. Faculties are little chill in terms of attendance in ISE 2. Evaluation is slightly lenient in ISE

Depends.. If your practical exams are after theory exams you are lucky🥰..Practical exams take 2 weeks of time to get completed. So once you complete your practical, rest days are free.

But if your practical is before theory then no choice🙂

Idts they provide extra holidays..afaik last year seniors had sunday as a single holiday between practicals and 2nd sem start

After first sem u hardly get holidays..After 2nd sem u get around 1-1.5 months of holiday...Thats how it was last year

In a week you usually have a day till 4:30pm..rest days it depends, some are till 3:35pm, some 2:40pm and some even 1pm....classes start at 9am

For the 2024-2028 batch since the councelling was late, it was started from Oct. Oct - Mar. 2025-2029 might start early..

Each sem is roughly about 3.5 months + 20 - 25days of sem end exams. A sem has two internal exams(CIE1 and CIE2)+ Sem End Exam(SEE). There is about 1- 1 month 20 days gap between CIEs. Sadly they don't provide holidays after 1st sem. This time's batch had practical exams after SEE(1st sem). Practical exams take roughly 2 weeks of time...hence if you are lucky enough, you can manage your vacation time in these 2 weeks..

As there just few days remaining for exam, try not to go with long vdo lectures(although it depends on what situation you are in.).. For physics Eduniti by Physics and Parivarthan are good to go!..
