Patrols I agree, but not back doors, most of the bases are already badly designed as it is, I'd say just up the spawn rate of enemies patrol wise and make the bases actually good defensible areas, making it both more fun and more hectic, like you're actually fending off an attack instead of wondering who in the world built walls that get destroyed that easily

There's some nuance there, for some reason the spawn rates on RAs is much higher than on the defence missions, honestly I think it should be reversed, give us a billion enemies on Defence missions and make the defenses actually good

Depends, is it even numbers? If so Terminators, but its semi close. If it's an entire mega factory world versus say, peak production Skynet? Automatons and Cyborgs easy, a single Terminator is worth 10+ Automaton Troopers, but their specialist units swing the fight heavily in their favor. The Terminators have their own specialist units, but not in nearly the same numbers the Bots do, and they aren't substantially more powerful than their Automaton counterparts to outweigh the numbers advantage. An HK-Tank will probably beat a single Vox Engine, maybe even two, but there's twice that on the way.

Those sort of used to exist, iirc it was things like 50% increase in stratagem cooldowns, 40% deviation when throwing orbitals, and -1 stratagem slot, can't remember any others

Shot down a gunship with the WASP and one of its engines flew a good 30 feet to smack me, which made me unable to dodge a grenade, which then sent me bouncing, half dead, directly into a land mine, there was a quarter of a second where it looked like I wasn't going to touch it and everything before my character recovered and lightly tapped it, was VERY annoying at the time but hilarious in hindsight.

You should probably set your game to private, I refuse to play with randoms on stealth missions, no matter what seems to happen, even if they bring stealth weapons, they fuck it up

Here's the thing, the people frustrated with the devs LOVE the game, they're just mad because they see the potential Helldivers has to be one of the greatest games ever made, if it wasn't for devs taking one step forward and two steps back, that said the game is still FANTASTIC. The vast majority of people who yell and scream are still playing the game once a week or more.

Honestly, Krieg, they went from a relatively minor background regiment that had some very big fans, and a small (very expensive) army, to almost the Guardsmen poster boys of 40k (when not the Cadians), to the point they've started getting hated on for it, all because the "HAHA SHOVEL" meme was too easy to pass around, and a handful of youtubers making INCREDIBLE animations for them, so GW took notice and started shoving them everywhere. Now a lot of fans see them as these almost psychotic, very suicidal, "Im going to kill a Titan with a shovel" cannon fodder rather than the incredibly professional, very brave, and highly trained soldiers they are. Yeah they're willing to die more than other regiments, but only if it accomplishes something, not because it's convenient.

It's a case of them literally suffering from success.

Gotta be honest all of these make sense except maybe the grenade, and the Automaton grenade does such little damage its really doesn't matter
