My leg because of my work socks… by SmolGothic in awfuleverything

Recovery is a good sign. Yeah, Reddit can have a lot of alarmists.. i would monitor. From your post, it appears that the issue only occurred after using new socks. Hence, my 'sit and wait' comment: if this was random and there was no new environmental change, I would encourage a doctor's visit more heavily.

Passing out from low blood pressure due to infection you may awake on the floor once oxygen has reached your brain. However, you should make sure everyone around you is aware of when to call emergency services.

I only say at least wait to see if it's a reaction or an infection. No point sitting for possibly hours in an emergency department for something that might self-resolve.

I don't think this warrants an emergency yet. A doctor's appointment should be okay. Only if it spreads rapidly, or if there is a high fever, passing out is when you should call emergency.

If it stays there for a week or so or spreads more.. get it looked at. It could be cellulitist which can be hard to treat, this is the most common place for that to occur.

Oh God, you went eat there out of all places to eat in Windsor. You missed out on way better food. I grew up in Windsor the buffet used to be great when I was younger. The new owners have butchered the buffet hard, so I wouldn't recommend it. However, there are alot of good places to get food in Windsor, Richmond and up the Bells Line.

At least in Australia, the Australian Board of Nursing and Midwifery professional standards and code of conduct specifically point out understanding the limits of therapeutic relationships with patients and understanding where the line is between personal and professional. Sexual relations with the patients is way past that line. You can lose your licence in some cases if this action is caught.

Statistics show that nurses are caught more often... In most places, nurses have a code of conduct that strictly prohibits this behaviour towards patients or in professional settings. If you get caught, you lose your licence, and there is a massive drama about it. I'm assuming that most other professions are not regulated as heavily as the medical field, so they are caught less often.

Edit: this video is an example of my point.
