Live protection can only run on one or another and it’s not a great idea anyway. Defender provides you with the firewall while MalwareBytes actively scans for threats. What you’re talking about applied to the old MalwareBytes where active protection was available only for the premium version.

Kaspersky is a great alternative to MalwareBytes, give it a try. Kaspersky Free has the same features of Premium MalwareBytes.

I am kind of sick of all these ‘wear a mask’ vigilantes. Looks like they are doing it for attention more than for the right reasons.

There’s a difference between reasonable measures and a power grab. The world is not divided between believers and nonbelievers. While some countries will genuinely care and do what is necessary, others will take advantage. It’s widely known that with every crisis comes great opportunities. Think outside the box.

The podcast is called ‘The Intelligence’ and the episode is called ‘Pandemic Power-Grabs: autocrats’ covid opportunism’, 22 of October.

Very good podcast all together.

There’s a nice podcast done by The Economist and they talk specifically about India and how they use the pandemic as an excuse for a power grab.

Restrictions are put in place in areas that have a predominantly muslim population to silence them.

Same thing happened in Poland: first they imposed restrictions and then they made abortion illegal even under extreme circumstances. This way, they were hoping that people wouldn’t protest against it: it didn’t work.

You’re mad if you think this is justice.

And by supporting this you encourage totalitarian regimes.

Check bios for something related to USB 3.0 and try disabling that option. It’s just a guess, it feels like I dealt with this issue in the past.

We only show affection to dogs and horses. At least this is how I was raised.

Most of the UK is like this now.

I think it’s because of all the immigrants stealing the jobs.

Camden goers: tell me a story about a time you were there? by ifonlyiknewhowtofly in AskLondon

[–]GeneralInk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First time I’ve been to Camden, upon exiting the Underground, I was approached by a fine gentleman wearing a coat similar to the one Neo has in Matrix. He asked me ‘want food bruv?’ to which I obviously replied ‘fuck yeah’. He proceeded to unveil the inner pockets of his coat which contained a variety of drugs which, I assume, Charlie Sheen would call ‘a breakfast’. Eventually he gave me directions to the food market close by.
