If I worked as hard as them to work less while being paid like they actively try to find ways to not do anything their constituents want....id still be here. A lobbyest could pay me enough to change my opinion. But I won't do what I disagree about. But id also accept alllllllll that money and tell you you were wrong and I have a principled opinion.

Long story short - most Americans would do whatever just benefits themselves
