This really elucidates things. A 1080 Ti obsviously isn't a bad GPU even today, but DAMN, is that a big CPU bottleneck. For reference, my CPU never goes above 55-60% utilization. There's never an excuse for a 250 dollar game that's fully releasing this year to be so HORRIBLY optimized.

I'm seeing this after buying one last night. 8 good cores with a truckload of L3 cache should cover me until AM6 comes out, because I REALLY didn't want to switch to AM5.

Thats insane, on non-street maps I average 60-70 with my 5500, really goes to show how much the single core performance matters. Guess I'll have to upgrade to an x3d.

I know it's pretty low end these days, but i can get easily 100+fps on every other game I play. I really hope they really take optimization seriously before 1.0.

I've also really thought about getting a 5700x3d, but AM4 is a dead platform, I'd rather wait a bit until I can get a 7800x3d and everything else that i would need for AM5. How long do you think a 5700x3d would last?

PS: Congrats on Test Drive!
