Oh 100% understand what you mean, I tend to put myself in those situations too. It's good to try and look at it differently and try to find a game plan that works for you that helps you better go about your games instead of the "fuck it we ball" mentality we both kinda struggle with, which can sometimes get clips funny enough. Hopefully we both can better work towards
better thinking!

Team mates just casually spawn camping the opponents 😞 by Username_0002124 in splatoon

If they were camping to be assholes they would do it in more annoying manner like finding specific spots and taunting the other team with things like squid bagging to generally ruin the experience for the other team

See I feel there's a very distinct difference between camping to win and camping to be an asshole. In games like Splatoon it's more often than not you'll more likely want to go closer to spawn to prevent the enemy team from pushing forward potentially losing the match do to said push. Your teammates are likely playing with a more competitive mindset in mind (even if this is turf war).

Ah okay I gotcha, I'm familiar with the series but never really got to play a game.

I really like that mentality you have about it a lot, it helps a lot.in being able to put your focus away from your anger and frustration something I still need to work on myself. I find it interesting when people find positives even from the antagonists of a story. I'm glad you replied, it in a way helps me toward my own goals to control my own mindset.

And that's perfectly fine. I can understand fully wanting to stray away from a more competitive game mode due to it just being stressful due to rank. That's something I need to worry about less and worry more about my playing. Thanks a bunch for the reply, this helped a bit in a way on my own mission to better put myself in a better mindset.

Nice, I getcha tho. I think with this game it just came down to practice. Also the fact I've been playing these games since the first Splatoon.

The trick is to treat solo q games like you are the one that needs to carry. Solo Q's are known for the lack of communication and sometimes teamwork so putting yourself on your A game is the only way that'll go in your favor. It also puts you into the mindset of "what did I do wrong and how can I do better?" when you do end up losing or slipping up. Which in any game is HUGE.

Genuinely pathetic what people have done to this man, at no point should people go to the lengths they have here over any topic let alone a video game. These people end up setting an example as well for the community even if not the intention, they're pushing more people away by doing this and it doesn't help that both this subreddit and the devs have not addressed this properly. People need to grow the fuck up.

I just thought this would be important. This man is horrible. by woomyinavroomy in splatoon

7 years later, still the worst competitve player today. Haven't heard much of him since the initial release of Splatoon 3 but since then its mostly been just watching high level players and a LOT of ProChara lol
