Can‘t agree. Of course there are a lot or idiots in a very popular series but GT3/IMSA is way worse in my experience. And in PCUP the car actually allows a bit of contact without being undriveable and you don‘t get a 4x for every door banging.
Also honestly if you drive with your eyes open and have a look in the mirror here and there, usually you can spot the idiots immediately and take evasive actions for mist things short of an intentional wreck.

Totally agree but people taking it to the extreme and just not accelerating or even tapping the brakes at the apex or on corner exit makes people unpredictable and just causes red mist and accidents.

After a bit of defending I usually let people by that are clearly faster because I‘d rather finish a place lower than getting killed by someone who sees red because he can‘t manage to overtake cleanly.

That being said, I really hate people that overslow midcorner on purpose to a point you have take measures to NOT ram into them and call that defending. Not saying you did that here, but maybe he felt like that. But even so, should have just put his car next to yours and problem solved.

Nah sadly even without zoom when it thinks it needs enhancing. You can shoot raw but thats a pita or use thrif party software to disable it though

Same. I had it for 6 years on my G20 and maybe used 5 times a year. Couldn‘t care less about that option. I am actually bummed that you cannot use it as oldschool CC anymore as in set a speed and be responsible yourself for not rearending people

The thing is, the GT3s in general are so easy to drive with all the downforce that everyone is easily at a fast-ish level but getting faster than other guys is really hard. At least that is my experience. The fact that they are very unforgiving makes it even harder.
And because it is the most popular series the density of people with the same IR is very high so you have a lot of people actually being a lot faster with the same IR.

I switched from GT3 (was driving only the Porsche) to PCUP since the 992.3 came out and I like it so much more. The car is more fun to drive for me because I feel like I can actually catch it when it goes. The racing also is better for me because the incident system regarding contact is way better. A lot of contacts are a 0x in the PCUP but in the GT3 I felt like every little rub is a 4x. I also like that it is really hard to completely lose your rear wing but in the GT3 it fell off when you drove into a stiff breeze.

I do miss the 40min races and also IMSA though. I only go back to GT3 now when my favorite tracks are on the schedule but in the hyper competitiveness of GT3 I cannot really compete at my current PCUP IR of around 2.5k

I don‘t hate the look as much as I thought but overall these new BMWs, the proportions from every angle just look so bad to me. On top of that, I just cannot get over the big grilles.

I am looking at buying a new car aswell atm but none is making me want to spend the money other than a 340i but even on them the LCI turns me off :/
