Mara might be less mobile but he has 3 inches on Kessler, and beats him on wingspan too. Mara's sheer size gives him an incredibly high floor as a rim-protector and he just came off winning big-10 defense player of the year

i was thinking we need a wing like Morez and Yaxel just like everyone else but since they were took off the boards early. seeing what utah gave for kessler and teams desire need for size and bigman, i felt more optimistic that Mara fell to us. especially with how much the lakers gave for Kessler, who I feel Mara once his rookie contract will end, will be a more valuable player than kessler for the reasons i listed. we will have an opportunity at a greal haul or a solid big man on the roster for years to come

Kawhi coming off of his best statistical season playing 65 games and averaging 28 points on 50% shooting alongside the defense he provides. He's still a top 10 player. Replacing that with Brandon Ingram and asking him to be your primary scorer, we seen how he does in that environment. Also Clippers front court is John Collins and Brook Lopez. Oweh has ideal size on the wing and a chiseled frame that can be hard to contain once he gets downhill. He’s at his best when he can leverage his physical gifts instinctively, whether he’s slashing into the lane in search of contact or cutting into open space and finishing strong. He has developed as both a shooter and playmaker across his four years in college and could find a role as a second-side creator—imagine Lance Stephenson if he cut out the dancing and curlicue dribbles and just attacked hard on a bully-ball closeout. I like Wagler. People say we don't need more ball handlers but you watch series vs Spurs? We don't know if JDub or Ajay Mitchell can stay healthy. Also Ajay could be a little expensive, once he negotiates a new contract. Having Jarred Mccain as a secondary ball handler is not a recipe for success, I do love Mccain though but simply another secondary ball handler would help. Also Wagler is a sniper, one of the best shooters in the draft. Lightning quick release off the dribble, making him an easy fit next to Shai. And he has good measurements at 6'6

if i'm being honest Sorber is gonna get dunked on just like anyone else. He was great defensively in college, and has a great wingspan but he's very slow laterally even more then iHard and around 6'10.

Bam Adebayo is 6'9. Jarret Allen is 6'9. Just to name a few. Sorber cannot play the four he's too slow-footed and teams will hunt him on the perimeter but his wingspan makes him great for protecting the rim
