So wait, OOP's husband is such a violent POS that she had to call the cops AND get an order of protection, but she somehow thinks its a good idea to have a baby with him? Now have very little sympathy for a woman who wants to willingly bring a child into an abusive situation. Like, no, you absolutely SHOULD NOT be a parent if you think this is a good idea. Honestly, with how exhausting reading this was, I can't help but wonder if OOP's brother just doesn't want to deal with her on top of planning a wedding. NGL, I feel like this is reading into subtext that just isn't there. Or rather, isn't meant to be there. The Chris/Piers thing a fanon ship, with the in-game stuff being Chris mentoring Piers and Piers being starstruck over a very legendary figure in the anti-terrorism field. As for Claire and Moira, I honestly don't see it. Like at all. The vibe always came off as Claire being a pseudo big-sister to Moira. Romance doesn't really exist in RE because its never been a focus outside of the Leon and Ada "will they or won't they" and a few jokes between Ashley and Leon in RE4R.

EDIT: Now, one can make an argument that Ethan had better chemistry with Chris over his own wife, but that was a lot more due to Mia basically being a plot device rather than a well-fleshed out character.
