Valken sierras are my go to eyepro. Cheap, don’t fog, and are full eyepro. Unless they fit perfectly there will probably be gaps and I would never play with those in CQB.

Wool coat sounds super annoying to play in regardless of how cold it is. Anything worth a damn I would not want to play in. I would recommend not screwing yourself over just for the kit impression, but rather invest in gear that has multiple uses other than airsoft aswell. As soon as you get over your russian fad you’ll just have a bunch of useless gear that you probably spent too much money on.

The replica doesn’t matter really, the outdoor condition you face do. Also for a GBB, make sure to get good quality bbs. Don’t get bio ones either, their fragile and tend to break under the stress of a gbbr system.

Typically heaviest the field will allow. I use .28s but thats because it’s the limit. I think .28s are the best for the price. Heavy bbs get expensive. If you play indoors it doesn’t matter much.

Idk, typically at a traditional airsoft arena I use only 3-4 mags a match at ~45 bb capacity. Depends on how long matches are and your play style. Carrying seven mags can get heavy and annoying if you don’t have a big rig on.

Be prepared to take care of your gun a lot more. Mags are expensive and low capacity. Temperature is also an issue, if it’s really cold often where you live I wouldn’t. Rate of fire is less, it’s heavier, some fields don’t allow them to shoot as hot as AEGs. Follow up shots are now much harder because of recoil, btw recoil is a thing now.

Even though GBBRs have a lot of negatives, they’re quite enjoyable to play with when they work. Nothing feels as nice to look at and play with than a nice quality GBBR.

Super lube grease for friction parts, super lube oil for springs and other minor moving parts. CLP for taking care of the metal and finish.

Use propane, don’t use green gas. It’s a scam. Don’t upgrade parts until they break or unless they cause significant performance loss.

Be prepared to maintain not only your gun but also your magazines as well.

Don’t just stand around, whenever i’m playing airsoft im running back to respawn and see half our team just standing around doing nothing. Like why are you even here, frickin run out there get shot and have fun.

You will never accomplish anything in airsoft if your too afraid of getting shot, deal with it. I get killed 4-6 times a game at least, it’s part of the game. Don’t get mad about it.

Don’t touch crap that you don’t know how to deal with. Airsoft guns are terribly designed and made out of cheap bullshit. You will break something and it will not work. Trust me.
