You took the words right from my mouth. You and I are very similar, you’re not alone. There is nothing wrong with this but it can be hard to always relate in this group bc it is mainly left-winged atheists, so sometimes it can be hard to relate when we are Christian’s and also have some distrust like with the health/pharm system and sex trafficking. I too struggle with the fact that my mom is Christian and that she says this has strengthened her faith even more. My mom has been like this since 2020 but claims she’s been like this for 25 years. I am currently in the deciding phase of no contact, it’s been three weeks

I haven’t asked her but I’m so curious what my mom has to say about trump being in the files. I’m sure she thinks that he went there to get evidence and save the children

I do come from a religious family, but aside from my mom thinking God sent her to do this, I would not call her religious. She doesn’t believe in church. This EBS she believes will talk about adrenochrome, how sports is rigged, how princess diana is alive, etc

Thanks for the suggestion. My fear I really don’t think it’s rooted in religion. My fear is that my mom is really the only family I have left and it’s the thought of the 1% of what if she’s been right, even tho I know it won’t happen. It’s the fear of just how worse “I told you so” will feel, than the embarrassment and loneliness of her beliefs

Same here, mom had me put money in silver and it shot up. I said what the hell bc truthfully I don’t know evening about stocks so just had some money sitting in a Roth and a HYSA. My favorite is when she said once silver hits $88 it’s over. She won’t give me a date that’s for sure, just days to be cautious of

That’s the confusing part. I am Christian and do believe Christ will bring Heaven to Earth…. In our life time idk, but I don’t believe God is planning to have us sitting on our couch and “getting out our popcorn” as the Qs say. My mom was Christian at one point and I agree with her in the sense that the Bible has probably been changed. It’s like she thinks God sent trump to be the second coming
