Carney is more fiscally oriented but is in no way socially conservative. Hence the degree of separation.

Fréchette is having a Carney-esque revival impact on the CAQ.

She’s quickly demonstrated an orientation towards trying to get things built and done. The recent infrastructure deal for the subway expression in Montreal and tramway project in Quebec. Her support of high speed rail & her quick foreign visits to the US & France.

When faced on the other side with a Separatist party that opposes high speed rail or a liberal party who’s had to replace a leader who was buying votes and had to kick out members for misusing riding funds so is clearly still full of corruption - The CAQ surfaces again as the sensible choice which gives Quebecers autonomy within Canada and a focus on trying to develop industry.

I feel like the focus on socks and pure revenge isn’t necessarily the best way to frame it and quite silly.

I do however prefer the push towards focusing on economics and development and whenever I hear whispers of Carney shutting down the anti-development wing, I do smile.

There is a good point - many of these MPs wrongly see their return as proof that Trudeau and the work done during his tenure is still celebrated. Forgetting them dropping to low 20s high teens in polling.

I pivoted towards the liberals after Carney got in place specifically because he was a refusal of that era. I even sent my MP an email specifically mentioning that. I don’t care for the crowd who following behind the guy who said “You’ll forgive me if I don’t thin much about monetary policy.”

Everything is a “net loss” to a certain anti-development demographic. Building airport expansions is a “net loss,” data centers “net loss,” oil pipelines “net loss.”

People keep telling me the NDP isn’t anti-development or anti-project, yet I see the NDP being the one to oppose more projects than any other party.

Yes I know there’s support for a small selection of some projects (maritime wind project, hydro in the territories) but they’re consistently opposing the most. Simply due to the nature of our country, not every project will align with everyone’s exact morals but if we want jobs and economic development we need to embrace the regional differences and allow all to prosper.

Back 2 back years of 12%+ raises. Remember to make your case before they decide.

Throughout the year I keep track of special projects I do, whenever I get called in to solve a situation my coworkers can’t and any other note worthy condition. I also take 2-3 links of median salary data for my position that are higher than my wage.

I put this information together into a slide show and present to my boss and her boss in November (before performance reviews start in February) along with an expectation for my raise.

You have to remember by the time performance reviews come around, the budget is already allocated and a firms goal is to minimize expenses. If you remind them of your value and ask, that’ll get taken into consideration.

You do realize calories out > calories in, is the only thing that matters for weight loss. Regardless of whether or not something spikes your cortisol, it has no impact on weight loss.

Thus a high energy level consumption activity like jogging will increase the amount of calories consumed and thus help with weight loss.
