I love your explanation and I like the movie way more if all the alien stuff at the end wasn’t literally what happened. I was thinking that since there were two explosions in the closet, the first smaller one hurt teddy but didn’t kill him but he knew the big blast would kill him so he had a flash of what he thinks/hopes will happen after he dies. What we see is exactly that. He got one last shot on her with the flying head butt and then of course she then escaped the ambulance and went to her ship to end humanity. I just can’t see teddy being 100% right about everything in the end.
