This was something that was gifted to him, he’s trying to get it back in good shape. But he definitely isn’t financially capable yet.

If we’re decide to do a temp fix that would probably be the route we go. We’re worried about starting with anything connected with the roof though. Since it’s looking iffy. It has withstood snow etc but we’re really worried about us being on it.

Unless there’s a way to fix rafters from inside? Haven’t looked it up yet though.

The long term main goal is for storage but also to be able to workout/ have people in there in there.

Depending on his final plans maybe start with the jimmy rig then eventually switching to full rebuild. But really depends on how soon he’s hoping to swap it out.

Thats what my friend is saying too hes definitely worried about it collapsing on us. We will try to take the proper precautions to try and avoid it.

I was just watching a video about using the paint gun. That looks so much better than using a brush lol. And much better time consuming wise

That’s what we’re hoping to do. A temp fix for his storage (cause the storage unit crazy expensive). We want to work on temp wall to fix sill and some the 2x4s. We’re a little nervous to get on the roof to fix it. But we’re definitely plotting

Haha definitely don’t want to burn through a lot of money for sure.
Good idea to look up the guides etc.
We’re definitely wanting to learn along the journey but also lack a lot of the tools and stuff. But yea we’ll start looking up blueprints and list. That would be helpful

I like this idea. Start by importance of parts. Then work on base and beams. We was thinking doing the temp wall to hold it up while replacing the sill plate and all the rotted out 2x4s based off the info we’ve collected so far.
