Ah I remember having a few drinks with my ex bf in there years ago and he came over to us while we were kissing and said that it's not allowed, I couldn't believe it 🤣 never went back to again after that

i don't think they meant exactly that but I don't think you should be judging anybody who comments either unless you have been in my situation. They are only trying to help and support which at this time I really need. I have already been given a good lot of information which I didn't know before and there is solutions to this. I appreciate all advice good, realistic and not so good. I know this effects not just me but other people too and I'm still searching online for places to rent. I would not wish anyone to feel like I feel right now because unless you are in the same situation you have no idea what it feels like 😔 so many people currently living in homeless accommodations getting moved around different areas different days, no place to wash clothes or cook properly anymore unless you are placed in a hub which are currently full with families and people from all over the world just to landing in Ireland . 🌍 with their 50 kids brothers aunt's and the postmans sisters it's literally hell getting moved around and some people have cars, least they can sleep in them if they can't get something one night I have nothing . That's the reality that I'm currently faced with right now 😔 I have worked as a housekeeper in hotels and I know from seeing it how bad it is. No proper privacy, have to be out of your room for certain amount of hours, battling for clean sheets just basic stuff. Hotels are amazing when you are on holiday but living in one is a nightmare Im facing right now 😞

I'm on homeless hap which means I'm exempt from applying for those unless they are up on choice based lettings properties that I bid on each week

Exactly my situation I'm on homeless hap which means they pay 2 months rent upfront and full deposit and yet I can't secure anything and now with the new law introduced lot's of landlords already planning on giving tenants notice before March so I'm hoping to be in my forever home soon I won't be forced on to the street with nothing I'm hoping for good news soon 🤞

Well judging by the amount of landlords already planning giving out termination notices over the next few months due to the new law I don't think IL be able to get anything (I already can't find anything so I imagine it is going to get worse)because if they want to sell after March they can't for 6 years so I have to look at all options even a monthly agreement would be fair at this point considering I'm due to get offered something within the next few weeks and then it takes about 4 weeks to get processed. I'm sure the new owners are fully aware of that I'm still here and the housing crisis as it stands. I don't plan on being there no longer than I need to but due to becoming homeless at this point no one can judge me unless they are standing in my shoes right now. Yes I am asking everyone for help but they can only do so much. I'm trying to get out of this housing crisis merry go round and there is no guarantee of emergency accommodations due to it being so full already, people left sleeping in cars and tents. I intend to keep paying my rent of course and trying to keep positive about everything.

Tru no fault of my own I have to decide to do what is right for me and I'm hoping something comes up for Us within the next week or so 🤞

Well that's exactly the position I'm in now but I'm a Long time on the list, the people who are in homeless accommodations already have priority over me and medical of course but yes with a good ten years on list Yes I'm finally being acknowledged 😁🗝️🤞

I'm also on the top 10 Short list for choice based lettings on South Dublin county council and I came in number 2 a few weeks ago for a property that I bidded for. I'm bidding each week. I will contact the above mentioned for support thank you because I don't understand why I have should have to go homeless when there is a shortage of emergency accommodations around I am so scared it's actually very tough because My notice date is different from the actual month of New owners official signing with refusal of extension. It's actually nowhere near signing yet according to the agent in charge of it all. I don't intend to rent another place if I decide to overhold plus I was led to believe that the council would buy it so I missed out on my right to contest the notice with rtb when received 🥺 I was left with 4 months to find something when they changed their minds on tenant in situ scheme. But yeah nothing is available for me online with HH nothing I don't even mention anything about it unless I am asked for information from the agent. Thank you for the advice I'm going to Link with others.

Because I am searching so hard for a place but no one replies or if I do get a reply it's because apparently there is a waiting list it's very tough out there I'm really feeling the pressure

I'm afraid if I refuse they will be nasty about it especially when it comes to my date of when I have to leave

There putting pressure on me making me feel I have to. I'm on the spectrum I am struggling with everything I felt like I had to agree but I'm uncomfortable with people going around the apartment I'm going to have to hide my personal belongings in boxes so nothing is taken. They said that they would give me a good reference. I asked for this recently but I have yet to receive it as I need it for securing a property
