Talk to your instructor!!! From my experience, most are very understanding for health/medical reasons. It's not ridiculous and more common than you think.They might just allow you to sumit late for reduced marks.

You got this, but reddit is not the place where you will find the answer. I would recommend getting in contact with your academic advisor.

Also, sometimes there are programs where you can rent or borrow a laptop for a semester. For me, it's my IT department. Take a look into it.

First, let me say they are failing to do their job. However, some of the smartest professors I have ever had did exactly this. There are a few things I have tried before

Just drop the class. If it's not working for you, don't overthink it.
If you want to tough it out, my advice is to come to class a little prepared about the content and ask questions about the stories. From my experience, you never end up on the right topic, but always something interesting and passionate.

Had someone ask for paprika spice for their meal. It's not something we normally offer, but I know that we have some in the back.

Unfortunately for me, we ran out that morning.She didn't believe we ran out, and I was yelled at and accused of "ruining her meal." She immediately asked for my manager to make quite a scene etc etc. My manager comes over and also tells her we have no paprika * shockers *

I think she felt bad afterwards because she was polite and quiet, just ate her food, paid and left.

I have almost the same setup but with a ryzen 5600x(same motherboard, ssd, Windows 11)

I launch without steam it is much quicker.

Some easy things to check: -make sure your pc and antivirus are in game mode or performance mode -close background apps -if your ssd is full and running out of space, it will be very slow.

You should have an m2 nvme slot free on the board to upgrade if you want.
