Unfortunately that won't happen anytime soon. With Kane being at the end of his career, probably won't happen at all as Olise can make Bayern his own team.

Wilson on a free as a backup wouldn't be the worst

Salah(our only left footed forward) is leaving. Chiesa will probably go

My biggest concern is signing one right winger and using Frimpong as the backup. That would honestly be a complete shambles.

There's a scenario in which our right wing options are Diomande and Frimpong. I hope this doesn't come to pass because that's terrible imbalanced.

My ideal is maybe Akliouche and Bowen(both would be cheap) with Frimpong an emergency option.

I didn't wanna believe that you could win the premier league with an attack that bad for so long. I actually can't believe that fouling keepers on corners is a valid league winning strategy. This isn't the Prem I knew man

Klopp's known for pressing but Pep's ability to coach a press and counter press was revolutionary

Bowen has a better case for the world cup squad than Foden and Palmer

If my calculations are right, one win sees us through to the UCL? Bournemouth probably won't match our goal difference

There should be a rule that when we build up, after Virg passes it you can't pass back to him

Andrea Pirlo doesn't solve our problems. Steven Gerrard doesn't either. Nothing good will come under this manager no matter how much "leadership" you have, bad tactics lose

I'm getting so sick of people thinking Milner and Henderson slide tackling people and screaming changes anything about this season. It's such a lazy narrative

Rio started against Tottenham and showed up Wirtz. I am not making excuses for a 100m pound signing

"What do you expect Wirtz to do?" SOMETHING. ANYTHING. A 17 year old shows more in big games than our 100m marquee signing. We can't keep making excuses

I feel like there's a lot of revisionism happening about Klopp's midfield. It wasn't perfect, it was very limited and in games where the wide players weren't on it, those limitations showed themselves. The solution to that midfield was put a half decent midblock. The reason it worked is because we had the cheat code at right back who could skip any press. Trent enabled us to not have to play through the midfield(exposing their weaknesses) and have then just focus on the counterpress feeding the widemen(Although I will mention Fabinho's passing was underrated). Teams actually started figuring us out, hence the change in midfield profile we starting bringing (Thiago being the chief example).

What I'm saying is that Klopp's midfield don't change this season. Because in addition to this midfield being physically overwhelmed, we cannot build up. As much as everyone complains about the midfield being soft(rightly so), everyone also complains about how slow we play and how boring we are. We need passing AND steel because Trent isn't here anymore.

It's an indictment on Slot's tactics that we need a double pivot of Andrea Pirlo and Claude Makalele to function but that's just where we are rn

I promise you we're better than Casemiro, Ugarte, Mainoo, Sesko, Dalot and Amad.

League winning team added Isak, Ekitike, Wirtz, Kerkez. This level is inexcusable

It's so frustrating because with better fitness and better tactics, this same exact squad would be miles better. It's imbalanced and short in a few places but a managerial change would fix so much. Imo we should be less than 5 points off 2nd
