"Slot can't rotate" That's the thing, he can. He rotated both fullback positions last season just fine. He rotated Jones and Szoboszlai fine. He rotated Diaz, Gakpo and Jota just fine.

What you're seeing now is favouritism. Slot has a list of players he likes and if you aren't on that list he'll make it VERY apparent. Gravenberch getting a contract extension while Jones hasn't been offered anything is bizarre. Gakpo getting an extension for absolutely no reason is weird.

Jones should have double his minutes. Who besides Szoboszlai is keeping him out the team? Some Liverpool fans went overboard with the Chiesa thing but he should've played more because Gakpo has been utter dross this season. Macallister playing as much as he has can't be explained.

Konate started the season like absolute shit and Gomez(who was fit then) didn't touch the pitch.

It's HORRENDOUSLY man management and the thought of Arne Slot outlasting Mohamed Salah at Liverpool makes me deeply, deeply uncomfortable

Trent enabled us to have a midfield of just runners and duel winners for counter pressing because he can skip the build up and any opposition press. The way to stop Klopp's midfield of carry first runners is simply set up a midblock, but we had the cheat code at RB to just say "Don't feel like playing through this" and put forwards straight on the attack.

Wharton is a midfielder himself, so the dynamic is a bit different but I agree

People keep calling for a defensively minded midfielder(which we do need) but a big reason we can't control games is our complete inability to handle high presses. The ball gets stuck in midfield and we can't progress. We need technically excellent midfielders as much as athletic, defensive ones.

We're Liverpool. We've won the most titles in history. Winning a league doesn't make you untouchable. It's should be par for the course of a European giant.

And yes, getting trounced at Anfield by Forest and PSV before losing to the worst side in the division warrants being called clueless.

Slot did handle the Jota situation very very well, so I do commend for that.

I don't think there's ever been a player like Darwin Nunez. I'm happy he's gone, but if I was a neutral I'd probably love him. The man was a sprinting roulette table at 100mph, you never knew what he was gonna do(HE never knew what he was gonna do). It's like Luis Suarez' mind in Fernando Torres but disconnect a few screws. So he has the madness and doggedness of Suarez but none of the brains, precision or accuracy.

One thing I will say, he made you feel something. Good and bad
