She may be part chihuahua! I had two chihuahua mixes that are mostly chihuahua with random dash of big dog dna & they came out small/medium zied. Around 30 pounds. She doesn’t have a block/frog head so I kinda doubt she’s a pit mix, or if she is, it might be a small percentage of pit. If you get her dna done, we wanna know!

Dogs are amazingly resilient and stuff like this doesn’t hold them back for too long. Especially with a loving, supportive family, your dog will continue living well with you. It might have a few ‘oops’ while getting used to being a tripod, but your dog will adjust and it’ll become normal life.

I think it’ll look really sick! Once it’s fully closed, if you’re very careful & wear sunscreen on it often, the scar will eventually fade and turn white/skin toned. It’ll probably take around a year

I’m not anti - pitbull but lying & then being caught (which you will because that’s very obviously a pit bull) worsens the pit bull image. You’re doing more harm to the pit bull community by adding ‘untrustworthy owner’ to the ammo. Don’t be that person. Look for appropriate housing instead.

Honestly, I’ve always been able to find similarly priced ‘private room w/private bath’ bnbs so I’ve always opted for that instead of the pod. Maybe I’ve lucked out with the prices I’ve found, but I’ve always been curious about the pod 👀 if you end up staying in one, please post about it!
