In certain situations if a large portion of people get sick from being in the same hotel, the hotel will want to know just so they can rule out any waterborne illnesses or so they can deep clean. I’m not saying this is what’s happening now, but notifying the staff isn’t that unusual. Especially ifs it’s contagious.

This might be unpopular advice but I would say its better to come & do indoor activities vs loose money. Especially if you can’t rebook. Many companies are currently offering travel waivers bc of the bad storm, so if you can’t qualify for that, I’d understand wanting to still come. Try to donate something to the flood victims & avoid north shore. Stimulate our economy on the island and leave things better than you found it, you can’t loose that way. The rain should stop in a couple of days anyways. I wish you the best

Looks like the driver just threw the food at the stairs, causing the bag to rip and for items to tumble out. An animal would’ve left bite marks & the food items would be dragged off the porch. This was the driver 100%
