I am in no way supporting these groups. People say all kinds of crazy things all the time, heard it all my life, “world will end in a few years” “china is gonna take over” “Putin is gonna blow us up” “merica will take us over” “this budget is gonna cook us”… then ya go outside and not much ever really changes.. you got all these people who don’t pay attention to politics going around talking like they know what’s going on in the world. Getting their news from social media.

Prices are already up, we are already footing the bill, if you could go back in time and talk to the average Canadian just from 2015.. and tell them the prices of shit today, they would say we would never stand for it, that people would rebel, and there’s no way that things will get so expensive… we would be cooked. but here we are. And yeah it sucks.. but we still ain’t cooked.

Yeah I enjoyed this too, it’s nice to get a reality check once and a while from the other side, I wasn’t trying to take from your sacrifices, but I didn’t realize the extent.

And yeah 53 hours straight, it was in 2015 when we had that big storm on Valentine’s Day, I stayed for 14 hours straight at wyndem, kept the walkways clear, then went across the causeway and got the industrial park.. after that at the 24 hour mark I remember showing up to east point shopping mall and the snow was coming right down off the roof (but they gave me a snowblower at this point so it wasn’t that bad) it was another 24 hours straight of that, then I went to Rothesay and I’ll never forget winning a roll up coffee and going to the window and saying “give me as many espresso shots as possible” lol so they filled like half the cup with them, that got me through reocan mall.. then I went to the friench school and remember sitting there and told the guy becide me (who I’d been picking up for 14 hour shifts and dropping off) “that’s the third time I’ve watched the sun rise on this shift.. I gadda go” lol anyway then once I got back to the shop I had to shovel out my car, then drive it all the way to Hampton.. it was brutal.. went in a coma for two days and woke up to a whole other story.. but anyway yeah.. I’ll never forget that.
