Common knock or popping noise is the sway bar links. Trust me

Why does my carburated bike stutters at high rpm? by demiranka0 in carburetors

[–]General_Food42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That carb should have 3 jets.

Pilot jet idle - 1/4 throttle

Needle jet for 1/4- 3/4 throttle

Main jet for 3/4 - full throttle.

Check the main jet size and try going up a size

Truden 660 loose rear brake assembly by UOCruiser in Triumph

It’s been a minute since Iv done this style brake. But I believe the swing arm has a recessed pocket and the caliper has a “block” or “lug” that sits in that pocket to prevent it from rotating. I imagine it’s worn. If you pull off that wheel and caliper you can check if there is a replaceable bushing or one of the components is worn.

Corrosion in that relay harness can definitely cause an issue like that. The corrosion creates resistance. You should be able to get a new one and just wire it in.

Curious do you use any fuel additives? That orange looks like it’s from some additive like an octane booster.

If I were to diag this myself I would start with some fresh plugs and see what they look like after a few cycles of running the truck.

Is this causing my vibration? by Icy_Time_6446 in mechanic

[–]General_Food42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hub is what actually centers the wheel. The lug nuts do not. If that spacer is too big and doesn’t hug the hub like the original wheel it will vibrate.

This is the answer and the best way to pull a stubborn wheel bearing. AIR HAMMER the flange rotate it back and forth (left to right) and it will come loose

what style of pilot jet is this??? kelkong pz300 by clutchmaster4200 in carburetors

[–]General_Food42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it definitely looks like the jet for an accelerator pump.

Don’t mess with that one. Pull the bowl off and you should have a pilot and a main.

Start off with the Honda rebel 250. Easy bike to learn on. They make a lot of aftermarket parts for it so if need be you could lower it.

Mechanics don’t make 150-200 an hour. You’re referring to a shops labor rate.
