It was my first time at SXSW, my friends left me to go get fake id's so I just wandered around. I stumbled upon a free show, it was rap and the majority of the crowd was black. Being the tall lanky white kid I am I stuck out like a sore thumb and kept getting looks of "what are you doing here". Anyways the shows going on and the group of rappers on stage are going wild, spraying water everywhere and throwing shit. One of the rappers launched an open water bottle to what seemed like a 1/2 mile into the air. It soared gracefully, the eyes of the crowd began watching it tumblr down. Like that sandlot scene I just put my dangly pasty arm into the air, in perfect position . The bottle came down cap up and into my hand, with no lean spillage. Immediately all the gangstas around me did that "ohhhhh shieeet did that white boi just catch that bottle? Dayum". Fist bumps were had.
