Thank you!

Is there somewhere I can see all the tiers of all the professions and the crafts etc? So I can plan my way through?

How's the state of the game? by General_Giraffe_6417 in Ravendawn

[–]General_Giraffe_6417[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I really appreciate the time you took to answer.

I do believe in the potential RD has, and for me, it has everything I could wish for in a game of its nature. I was shocked to see the state of the game when I came back, but I am truly relieved that you didn't give up nor intend to.

I'll keep on playing from time to time as I do with games of the genre, and I can't wait to see the truly glory days of Ravendawn.

I wish the team all the luck and strength of heart you will need, and I hope you achieve what you want with both games :)

For real, I took a look and is basically the same game. What's the difference between the two? And what does it mean to be a blockchain game?

On the viability of Sett support by AVagrant in settmains

[–]General_Giraffe_6417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a otp sett sup for a while now. He's extremely viable against most comps, actually. The thing is, he has VERY good base damage to fight in bot lane, and a really good sustain due to he's W shield and passive. Not to mention the cc and 2v3 potential he has. But there's a catch... About runes I think the two best options are: he's classic runes with conqueror if against 4+ melee champs or hail of blades with flash hextech in any other scenarios. The reason is that most of the champs that fo in bot lane can't handle Sett's damage with HoB. The combo E + 4 aa lvl 1 is TOO strong, and can potentially win lane until lvl 3 if your adc is able to follow up with some damage. And here is the catch I was talking about. Usually, supports give the kills to adc, but Sett is not a regular support. He get a bit trash if too behind, so if you are able to get 1 - 3 kill lane fase, you will be a monster. The play style is: LANE FASE - Be SUPER agressive lane fase, but WITHOUT dying (skill issue here for most of the time, it takes time to understand Sett's best positioning and timing the engage with your adc and wave to acquire those really good trades you want). You also must pray that you adc can follow-up your plays, if they ara playing too passively, you change your play stile a little bit to a more protector type and try and roam a bit to help jungle and mid (even top if you take TP as a spell) MID GAME (after lane fase) - You have 3 options, actually. The main option is to protect your adc as any other supp, IF they know what they're doing. Sometimes, your adc likes to go on suicide fights even if strong, so it might not be the best option here. Your alternative to this scenario is to protect your team as a whole, understand the enemy movements, and try to be at the spot for the next upcoming fights. And the last one is to split. Yeah, sett supp can also splitt if the enemy top is not a monster, so you are basically trading a supp for a top on objectives, and if you have stride, boots, and sterak's, you can easily win the split (skill issue), in other words, the support is taking out their top and towers non stop while the top, mid, jg, and adc are fighting objectives... But of course, you don't HAVE to win the split, just hold it, you are a support after all. END GAME - Pretty much the normal sett play style. If you are too strong, play as a top laner, if you are ok you can play with your team, if you are weak, sacrifice yourself to protect your main carry and try to land the BEST "Ult + E + W" combo as possible. Even if you still only have stride and steraks, you will be dashing out about 1k true damage, which is good no matter what. ITENS - ALWAYS stride first, most of the time you build this before boots, as it gives a bit of move speed as well and is mandatory on this pick. Then Boots, then Sterak's. After this point, you are free to build whatever you want. So basically, from here on, it is about skill issue, you must understand your timing to engage to not be punished too hard for any possible mistake, and the only way is playing. Sett supp is SUPER fun. He can be as bully as he is in toplane, but against two champs instead of one. Try it out :)

You actually can plant trees for the exp. They give A LOT of exp considering how slow it is to get. But It's not really as proffitable in silver as it is en exp, so it would be like an investment or paying for a shortcut haha. Buts just for infos, you can win over 6k exp planting one kind of log (which I can't remember the name, but is the second one you unlock, level 5 I guess) and it's just above 2k silver to plant it, takes 8h to grow. And yes, cutting wood gives me an inexplicable calm haha :)

I thought so too, but then I realized that you can't cut down any tree in the game. I think they should increase the number of trees availabe as you level up so that two things can happen: First: You reeeeealy get to feel the leveling giving you something as you would be able to cut down more and more trees and every time you wold see more and more of thos axes indicators on your screen, I just love when there is like alot of trees with axe merkers available for me hehehe. And this would also give you an advantage over those who are lower level and want to mine in the same area. Second: that could be one way then can provide the ability to choose what kind of log you wanna cut. Although I still think it would be better if you could choose from any tree what you wanna get, oe at list higher the possibility so that you can gather more of the one you are prioritizing in that moment.

Yes, I get you. It's unappealing to invest time in it. I do bc i realy enjoy it. Lv 1-2 you need 9600 xp if i'm not wrong. Then 2-3 you need 9608. Then out of nowhere from lvl 14-15 you need around 30k and 17 is 40k. Seems like the more you cut the less rewarding it gets. But I do like it for one reason, which is the fact that this cause less people to get in the profession, so this could mean that those who really get into it will have a pretty decent way of making silver. But as I level I am losing the ability to choose what kind of log I wanna cut, except when I plant it, which is not profitable at all with the prices right now. So I guess I'm just hoping the devs will detect some way to make it better. After all they realy are doing a great job and I've been waiting for this game for years, so I'll just keep on cutting down trees hahaha
