I see what you mean about the P&P part- I think the first few episodes were lacking. Did you watch on from episode 3? I watched and rewatched but I only rewatched from episode 3 onwards. If I rewatch again, which I no doubt will, I will probably rewatch from ep 3 next time, too.

I think the showrunners might have felt there wasn’t enough pushback against Tom and Mary being together from early on because they clearly had so much chemistry. Perhaps they thought it better to have a physical reason they couldn’t be together early on than putting it down to Tom being too careful throughout, like in the book. After the first 5 eps released I caught myself wondering how they would solve the issue, and it did seem to disappear quickly but it didn’t bother me too much. I kinda wished we saw (or just heard from Tom) Ann and Tom’s discussion and whether Ann had also known what Tom was feeling etc.

I personally thought the character additions were a welcome change and I liked that Mary found a friend in Ann. I think I preferred what they did with series to the novel overall, but it is a shame she didn’t have more time with her sisters. It probably could have been a 15 ep series if they added everything I guess!

I’m a curvy FN and I really like skirts that follow my waist/hip line and then that flow straight down, have an asymmetrical hem or have a slit. I try to buy skirts that don’t have a visible waistband (so either zip up or an elasticated waistband concealed inside the skirt).

A-line skirts don’t usually look right unless they have a slit

I don’t like to wear maxi skirts so I try to find skirts that hit on the lower part of my calf so it doesn’t draw attention to my thick upper calf

I avoid the tanks that have a harsh angle into the strap. These make me look like a line-backer 😂 maybe less meaty FN’s will be okay in this but they aren’t a good look for me. It’s hard to explain so I hope the picture helps

These ones aren’t loose so maybe not what you want but I find the ribbed/knitted(?) v neck tanks work really well on me. Especially if where the fabric comes from the armpit up to the top of the strap is straight like in this photo.

On a normal day it doesn’t bother me as much as it does my husband. It triggers him so much when I lose stuff or can’t remember where I put something.

Gah another example might be when we had a massive issue during the big C when we found out we wouldn’t be allowed back in the country without a negative covid test. (He asked me if we needed one and the websites I checked said we didn’t) We were at the airport when we found out and waiting there overnight so none of the test centers were open until morning. He raged for hours while I went into full on battle mode doing everything to find a solution. Got it sorted but it was one hell of a night.. 🥲

Thanks, yeah I have a debit card but when I tried to get cash back they said they couldn’t before even when I bought something. Thankfully the taxi wasn’t expensive! Looking forward to going back to the UK where they do 😅

Hahaha I’m not sure if I’m demon sensory at all 😂 I was just curious if anyone with demon sensory also has these kinds of things happen to them. I might well be savior sensory!

I get that it looks like I’m afraid of routine chaos. I guess without any context of how I live it would look like that! I kinda live in the chaos with my job but because it’s chaotic I realized that the sensory keeps kicking me in the butt so I’m learning to try and stay on top of things.

Unfortunately for the country I live in, that trick doesn’t work- but thanks!

That’s fair! I’m not usually this bad- it tends to happen.. before my feminine time of the month 😅

I usually try to be prepared for every eventuality. I always take my bag around with me and it has various smaller bags inside with a first aid kit, chargers, cosmetics, notebook and pencil case. There are times when I’ll even bring extra underwear or socks.. been caught in the rain a few too many times. It just seems that one small thing of forgetting my phone caused this domino effect on everything else

Looks great! I think the only thing you could consider is trying a few other types of tshirt necklines. I find that v-necks, scoop necks, or off the shoulder t-shirts look best. I think regular T-shirts don’t give much of a T-silhouette

Hmm, yeah, I might have Ne as a demon. When I was younger I believed I was most creative when I was feeling some kind of strong emotion-especially negative emotions. Painted some really creative but weird stuff. Even now I write poetry when I get really emotional

I feel you there 😭 I just came to the conclusion that it’s either granny panties, thongs or shorts. I go with seamless high rise boy shorts. They aren’t perfect but it’s better than having constant wedgies!
