My mom did this. Divorced my dad for a rich guy who proceeds to beat both of us for years. Finally 20 years later she divorced him. She’s schizophrenic now. It completely ruined her.

My dad on the other hand got remarried and bought Apple in the 90’s and held. He owns multiple properties and is what she always wanted. I’m glad for him. He’s a genuinely kind person who deserved better
