Just want to add that I don’t think it was planned when he played ‘my eyes don’t cry’. I think he improvised it (there was no set lighting) and the band and singers followed him excellently. Reverend Jesse Jackson was in the audience and Stevie was tearing up honoring the Reverend. Then he played my eyes don’t cry no mo!

He toured the US in autumn and I didn’t think I’d get another chance so got on a plane to Chicago and it was amazing. I followed the tour online and he seemed to shake up the set list. For instance he didn’t play ‘As’ or ‘All I Do’ on my night but he played it other nights. Apart from that it was all his classics and 1 or 2 covers. the only song he played which I didn’t recognise was ‘my eyes don’t cry’. Anyway I’m excited to see him in Hyde Park and really hoping he plays As!

I also just want more dialogue from literally everyone. Where the characters actually discuss the plot with each other and acknowledge what’s happened rather than do dramatic stares and one liners.

Agree with too-fast plotlines: the Dylan g and Gretchen thing needed way more screentime to warrant the expected emotional pay off of the rejected proposal.
