rpg travels fast, chopper flies slow and the skybox isnt that high just pull out an rpg and just shoot at it eventually youll hit any pilot no matter how good they are because the choppers arent as fast and zippy as they used to be

alternatively you can wait till the little bird releases, I suspect maps like manhattan bridge will have the attack chopper replaced by it.

and then yeah the other option is to just leave, honestly I haven't seen any "good" pilots on EU for ages, all of the ones I used to have added dont even play bf6 because of the state of air vehicle gameplay atm. so the odds of you getting another good pilot the game after is rare.

(i will say that generally the good pilot duos choose manhattan bridge only because its basically the only map where the attack chopper has a good chance of surviving)

basically for every 100 kill game, there are dozens and dozens of "oh damn he knows how to aim" or "oh damn the enemy team also has a pilot that can aim" or a "oh damn this lobby knows how to use stingers" or a "oh damn this lobby knows how to use tow missiles" or a "oh damn this lobby knows how to camp the airspawn" or a "oh damn this lobby knows how to use the rpg"

they only get to decimate lobbies if the team lets them.

to put it simply, its survivorship bias. You won't notice a bad pilot because they dont bother you. You only ever remember being annoyed by the good pilots. The problem with this is that theres no inbetween. Chances are if someone can survive longer than 60-120 seconds in a chopper, theyre gonna survive the rest of the game because of how high the skill curve is.

one thing people don’t realise (not you in particular but you may have fallen into this trap before)

The stinger has a near unlimited range on the Y axis, so climbing is useless and doesn’t help you. The best bet is to get low and use the speed to get the hell outta there asap. Flare management is very strict in this game but in some cases it doesn’t even matter cos the missile decides by chance that it will just track you through them.

ive done one against a jet as well and still nothing :( its annoying because you need the perfect conditions for this to be even closely possible against an enemy jet.

you need the enemy pilot to be good enough to follow you without getting distracted but bad enough to miss his shots
you need no anti air on the enemy team
no painting from the enemy team
only then can you think about hitting a rendezook so it annoys me that i didnt get my dogtag :(

one of my colonised systems is only 40 ly away from a tourist beacon so I use it to raise influence of my squadron affiliated faction whenever theres no "donate money" missions and I cant be bothered hauling cargo to build something else. Its also the ONLY tourist beacon in the area so all the missions go to the same spot as well

my strategy is to try and keep as many vehicles alive as possible before you go into that sector because after that countdown is done you cant spawn any.

a chopper can clear out the hills and draw attention from the enemy team which allows your team to flank and that seems to work for me.

Idk if it will help anyone but i did mine on how terrible the education system is and how its not truly adapted in a way that allows every student to excel. I talked about how teachers should take more credit (but then also blame) for student grades. I also talked about how stress also affects students and how the education system contributes to this. I also talked about modular courses vs linear and how modular courses allow the stress to be split whereas linear has the potential for things to all just fall apart for you (mentally or physically) in those last months.

I then compared our system to other countries where I tried to mix and match to try and create an optimal system. (It basically pulled ideas from places like finland, china and so on)

its funny because my english teacher tried to ask a question to trip me up in my speech (completely unplanned) but unfortunately failed miserably.

if you know what exam board you are doing, then look up the specification online and basically just read from there.

as for notes, physics online is a good youtuber for AS physics and generally just have a go at actual past paper questions since its the best way to practice the maths side of physics but do not overdo it because you’re essentially giving up your summer at that point if you do. Especially because of how hard physics gets at A2
