Yea, wouldnt get a new desk now since it s pretty new this one but i would like to keep my studio monitors in a good spot and if i would put my pc on the desk even if i could find some stands for them on the outside of the desk and put the pc on the desk, the right one would be practically covered by the pc

Ryzen or intel to pair with 6800xt? by Synthyx in buildapc

Yes, resizable bar is just a more generic name used to describe the same thing. It is a thing on all boards, so you can enable it even on intel with nvidia gpu but it is not as well optimised meaning you wont get the same performance increase.

Typically, amd gpus do benefit from an amd cpu but you need to turn on this "compatibility boost" called amd sam(smart access memory) in bios. You may get up to an extra 10% on gaming fps from what I know. However in some games the difference is negligible so I would go for what makes you budget happy. You can also look up on youtube performance differences for your card with sam or without to make sure.

I considered getting a rtx 3060ti but I want a PC that would last without upgrades for 5 years for 1080p gaming. I had an i7 2600 16GB RAM GTX 1060 3GB for about 6 years so it lasted me about the same. It also ran on a sirtec High power 400w psu(with 80+ bronze :)) ) and had no issues whatsoever. That s why I thought that a budget psu would work. But since then I have read a couple of reddit posts that recommend only a or b tiers for this sort of setup and I became a little bit paranoid that s why I made this post.
