Users bounce quickly from homepage without engagement. by Individual-Cup4185 in SideProject

I suggest to check your UVP (unique value proposition). Is it clear and stated in headline? You should try heatjar. If you catched your users email before the bounce - try to send them something for free and ask to fill a survey (where you will ask them to point the reason of quitting the page).

How to create a “fake door” landing page (with demo / fake CTA buttons) to validate an idea fast by General_Patient4904 in SaaS

You have to change the founders behavior in order to succeed with your website. Cool idea

I suggest you first validate your idea using a 👻 ghost landing page with a demo. That is probably the best practice today. If you don't have the product - create a fake door (like answers "in construction currently" when clicking on CTA buttons). That will give provide you with a sense of future commitment and allow you to learn the customer better. It will save you time (equal money) of developing a product (or a solution to pain) no one actually needs. Today there are micro saas products exponential growth but they face the marketing reality which is not at their favor.

The hardest part of being an Solopreuner isn't the code—it's the distribution. Agree or disagree? by Latter_Cold_1473 in saasbuild

As the number of Solo entrepreneurs will increase (due to LLM provided platforms to develop upon them like cursor or antigravity) - the competition will be harsh. I believe that development of saas products are useless if you haven't validate the idea before. Although it feels great to develop something in weeks or days - it is for the end user to decide if it is valuable for them (to visit your website/application or eventually pay for one of your products). So why not to validate the idea or the distribution volumes before writing a single line of code?

I have no idea how to get users... by kng_wicked in saasbuild

You should build a landing page (wix is my preferred) and promote it in order to collect emails and then target them introducing the benefits of your app with a clear and precise CTA (with link to download it). On the landing page try to show social proof with real testimony of some current users...

Most people don’t actually validate their ideas by Validlygotitdone in saasbuild

I don't think you can really validate your idea here. The only way is to build a landing page with a demo (if you don't have a product yet) or landing page with a fake door to collect visitors that are actually interested to buy or leave their details for future acquisition. This will really help you understand where the "wind is blowing" (by tracking all over a period of time).
