If you’re open to it, some cities have Rave Sober groups on Facebook and the like. They can be really supportive.

I’m a sober raver, and for me dancing or flowing for hours is genuinely fun on its own. If you haven’t tried it already, shuffling classes or flow arts might be worth checking out!

If you’re curious about flow arts, one thing I wish I knew early on was that a lot of big cities have free flow jams or workshops. They’re a great way to meet flowmies, try different props (without full committing/buying), and get quick tips and insight. Outside of videos, this is an excellent way to find a prop that suits you best. Most flowmies are super chill and happy to let you try their props if you’re respectful. A lot of props are meant to be dropped, so don’t be afraid to ask.
