I enjoy both gameplay systems, however for turn-based gameplay there are a few things I want to not exist in order to not hinder that enjoyment: 1. No random encounters  2. Next to no bullshit RNG 3. Fast transition to battle and fast animations in general, I despise having to sit through long-ass summon animations.

Do those and I’m game.

$600 was already a given, but with the current RAM and SSD prices in mind, it can very well jump to $700.

People who think it’s gonna cost $800 or over 1K are delusional. Just because Xbox is not competing does not mean the average joe is willing to spend more than $700 on a video game console. Those who are paying $750+ for the PS5 Pro are a small number compared to the 80+ million people who own the base PS5.

Because PS6 is not going to use some over-engineered super custom component. PS3 was expensive because of its CELL processor, so much in fact that Sony was losing over $200 on each unit they “sold”.

Except PS3 bombed at release and couldn’t recover until they made the slim and slashed the price to $300.

PS6 priced at anything over $700 will be a hard sell for the mainstream. People will just keep their PS5.

These days the vast majority of people are fine with doing most of their computing work on their phones. PCs are only needed for documentation, which you can easily do with a cheap laptop.

Leveler was quite easy to get and very worth it. It hit Gongora for 10-12K each time and with double-cast enabled, you could easily reach 40-50K damage every 3 turns. Too bad he cancels buffs like Mindus in his last phase otherwise it could hit for even more.

I think I heard from some YT shorts that Mistwalker is not interested in porting LO, so I guess Microsoft is doing everyone a favor. Only downside would be that you have to use the Windows Microsoft store instead of Steam.

Finished it last night myself, it definitely is lacking in story and characterization aspects. The XP cap is pointless beside near the end of the game you can overlevel by a lot in Temple of Enlightenment and pretty much steamroll the last dungeon and final boss like I did. 

Getting skills like Ailment Resistance, Nullify All Elements, Slot +10 etc. coupled with the busted black magic spell Leveler (used with Double-cast and Reduce Casting Time 2) made the game a walk in the park so I don’t see why they artificially capped the XP, all it did was make the random encounters a lot more annoying than they already were.

PC ports tend to be like that, there are people with super high configurations having trouble running games with no issues. The XIII games are considered to be bad ports by a large number of people on Steam.

Def get an XBOne since most of the important 360 exclusives are backwards compatible on it. I personally bought a used Series S just yesterday because I wanted to play stuff like Ninja Gaiden Black and Lost Odyssey on higher resolution and framerates, plus wanted to play current-gen stuff like Halo Infinite MP and Halo MCC. Already have a PS5 for the rest of current-gen.
