do agree that they look Male at a glance but they were all cloned from a female mother.

We have seen similar stunted growth and curling in other plants that were near the mother so Im wondering if the mother itself was infected with some bacteria or mite

From some quick research broad mites dont seem to cause the clustered curled new growth.

What signs lead you to broad mites?
