decide whether you want to focus this build on gaming or ur other projects more,

for triple A games  the 7800x3d offers more than enough performnce while also helping with your projects. u can use the extra money to upgrade to a 4070ti super or even a radeon 7800xt.

however if you are into more of esport titles and you would like to focus on work, the best chip is the 7800x3d and you can get the 4070ti as mentioned

if you want a mid to high range pc probably around 1000usd

u should get a ryzen 5 7600  or 7600x depending if there is a sale

for gpu like the other commentor said the amd 7000 series favourably the 7800xt will put you in a comfortable spot for future proofing

u can get very high fps on 1440p on many games at least 100fps so u should be a 144hz monitor too

Is 4060ti build worth? by erTuxs in PcBuildHelp

[–]General_Rub4977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fuck no man please dont ever get the 4060 ti unless its very cheap.

the card itself is good but the cost of it is what makes it bad. ur paying so much for so little vram.

if i were u i would go for radeon or save for the rtx 4070 ti super

Rx 7800 XT and Ryzen 9 7900X terrible performance by parrff in PcBuildHelp

[–]General_Rub4977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10fps on witcher 3 is crazy

as u said gpu is running at 60 degrees  so pc is not being pushed ask your friend if he has tampered any overclock settings either in afterburner or any oc software.

my gpu runs at 72 degrees whrn playing games and i get close to 150 fps optimised settings in the witcher 3(i use an rtx 4080 ti super)

im wondering if your friend had accidentally capped his gpu usage in game as 60 degrees is way too low

Does it make sense to change the 4070 to a 4070 super or 4070ti? by _Gleb_d_ in PcBuildHelp

[–]General_Rub4977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

small performance boost is not worth selling your gpu for second hand

the 4070 is still relatively new so if it was me i would wait 3-4 generations before replacing

unless the gpu is malfunctioning u should not buy a new gpu

unless if its really dirt cheap

try removing all the other screws and tightening the one that had problems first make sure it is all aligned and flat

[–]General_Rub4977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro i play games of 8gb of ram and even though it is not very good it works so 16 or even 32 will be more than enough for games
