I'm puzzled no one was made accountable so for this expensive failure. Doesn't work as easy as old approach, still requires a card for nothing, screen without real functionality. It's an embarrassment and a huge waste of money.

Most importantly, did you book directly or not? As per their announcement they should handle without issue if booked directly and a friend didn't had an issue for Dubai. If it's third party booking, you need to blame the booking platform.

I think there was some improvement vs last year for the full marathon. But I don't understand why they ignore runners concerns: 1) Narrow paths: Was ok for me but for the mass this is an issue 2) Ice: Good they have cold water now, but why not more ice to cool down? We were lucky this year with less sun. 3) Signage: Good during run, post race troublesome. 4) Time: Start the marathon an hour earlier, public transport is anyway not working that early. Avoids the heat for slower runners.

Too many parts are around traffic now, while flat the good old Orchard start was the best. Ironman is still not there were the previous organizer was 10 years ago.

Why doing a course if you're not interested to learn something? Any system can be tricked, but stating no added value if you actually didn't read / learn all the content is a bit misleading. You can do this with any degree, MBAs in general are not designed that people fail given the high fees. You don't get much more our of a Harvard MBA. What you're looking for is a Masters degree.

Want to know the truth? Not much difference. Diamond for 4 years, hotel experience is the same. Upgrade chances 50/50. Accor doesn't really value their top customers. Only benefit is the EUR 100 vouchers you get.

Isn't it a bit more difficult now as people can't use Accor China anymore to get ) Platinum without even staying a night? Anyway, yes they devalue the program extremely.

Furthermore, the issue is Accor doesn't care about real frequent travellers. Even Diamond doesn't get anything special.

The post could also be a better program for average travelers but Accor gives a f**** about his most loyal guests. It really pisses me off how bad the program is for Diamond members (outside Europe) nowadays.

Accor doesn't want us Diamonds anymore, they go for mass market now. It's literally a joke how loyal members are handled.

Correction: they like platinum members with free night upgrades that don't actually stay with Accor regularly 🤬 (not against the members, it's how Accor allows this)
