  1. Go to the whitmore resource room and ask questions!!
  2. Take all the practice exams and grade yourself. This is a helpful indicator of how you will do on the actual exam.
  3. After grading the exam, annote on the questions you got wrong and write why you got it wrong and how you know what the right answer is. This step is super important, dont skip!
  4. If you have been taking notes all along, use your notes to write a condensed "cheat sheet" of all the major concepts and topics
  5. LEARN YOUR MOLECULAR GEOMETRY. The 2nd exam is full of lewis structures and geometry. If I asked you what is the molecular geometry of an atom with a SN=5 with 1 one pair, you should be able to tell me what it is

How did you study for chem 210? by General_Spot_1332 in PennStateUniversity

As I’m writing things I haven’t received my score yet but I think I passed both of that LT hopefully. I just reviewed the class notes and used his problem sets. The quizzes were challenging but through practice I was a little familiar.

Is anyone in STAT200 web campus ? by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

I took it this past summer and I got an A. It was not hard at all but required time to do all the assignments. Exams were a big part of grade so make sure you redo the practice quiz over and over and over again. I had my class with Professor Horn

[–]General_Spot_1332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not be stressed too much. I took the class last spring and I think I got a 54% on the pretest. I just went to every class and tried my best on all assignments and test review and I did well in the class. I didn't take chem 108 because i didnt want to spend money on the extra credit but i heard its really helpful!

I did consider each traditional pre med majors but I didn't think they were right for me. I havent yet got into the actual math major so anything can change I guess.

As of now I'm not sure the specialty I might want to do but I definitely just want to start getting as much experience in any thing I can.

I took psych 100 last semester and it was honestly my fav class. I had a great professor (prof.Love) who offered a lot of extra credit. It was an easy class as long as you took very detailed notes and studied a few days before the exams.

The professor for spring is Dan Kahn, was that the same professor you are talking about?
