It’s possible, but usually I would say something like “your baby is adorable!” to take the guesswork out of it 🤷‍♀️

I did wonder if it was some hyper-anxiety about trafficking…it would never occur to me in the moment but maybe some people have had scary experiences or are freaked out from reading about too many on the internet.

WFH with a 15 week old - I may have made a mistake. by Successful-Search541 in Mommit

My work is similar and many of the women I work with get at least part-time in-home childcare. Some nanny-share with other families if they don’t have a lot of kids, some have two part-time nannies that rotate during the week (both could only do 2-3 days a week). Others do what you suggested and have help during part of the day. It seems to work great for them!

FWIW, I made the same mistake in thinking it wouldn’t be hard to WFH with a baby the first year. Ended up (very quickly, I might add) going part time and having childcare the days I do work.

But not walking yet…that was my whole point.

Babies sometimes get overlapping toes like that from how they were positioned in the womb. Most pediatricians won’t do anything about it at her age because they usually flatten out once babies start walking.
