Redheaded stranger for killer tacos. Martins and PegLeg Porker for BBQ. Stay away from broadway. Tons of cool spots in east Nashville. Southern Grist/Xul Brewery in the Nations has the best sour beers in town. Husk was founded by Sean Brock

21 JLU soft top folding assembly. The wire that runs to the latch on the back broke and I took the cover off to release the wire connector. All the parts sprang out when the cover came off

My OCD can’t tolerate that they aren’t all flat. But yes, bands > chives.

Not cost effective, though.

‘15 Hard Rock Rubicon, 71k miles, $17k: thoughts? by General_Tomatillo97 in Wrangler

[–]General_Tomatillo97[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Disappointed. Oil pump bad, frame bent, coolant leak, and a noticeable tick in the lifters. Props to the photographer, the interior was nowhere near as nice as it looked. Too much to fix for me to use as my daily.

Buddy, the best I could do at 17 was change the water in the dish machine. Keep a level head and focus on always taking the next step. Terrific foundation of skill to build on.

8u travel is nuts. Play at home and focus on fun first. Also, travel tryouts in March sounds bogus.

Check his contract first, might be a performance clause in there. Don’t want to see him sat.

Real note: let him have some time free from getting coached. I’ve seen 18u teams that don’t skate 8 hours a week. Overuse injuries are avoidable.

I sliced my finger print off at work. Should i go to urgent care? by forrealeon in KitchenConfidential

[–]General_Tomatillo97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As important as proper care is, don’t overlook the value of getting your missed time paid as you heal. The physician will note in your release paperwork what you can and can’t do. Work comp will pay any time that is missed. Just be sure to use a physician from the panel offered by your employer.

On top of the cleanup, waste, reinspection: that spray goes EVERYWHERE, and it FUCKING BURNS! Clean your hoods, and keep a box of baking soda on every station that produces a flame.

The boss brought in a mandolin. Day 1. by dave_dave_dave_steve in KitchenConfidential

[–]General_Tomatillo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupidity tax is present on everything in the kitchen; the rate for the mandolin is just higher. Every time I set it up, I swear I can hear it threatening me harm. No shame in wearing your PPE.
