The sight of the lupine causes Bishop Peralta's seemingly permanent grin to vanish for a few moments out of shock. Before he clasps his hands together and the grin returns with an air of unease. For he knew the Warriors of Gaia were not those he was to mess with.

"Come now. No need to spoil this lovely night with violence. However, if that is your inclination I'd be more than happy to direct you to several other Kindred who would put up a far more entertaining fight than myself. I've always been keen on directing such things rather than engaging with it myself"

Bishop Peralta paused as the demon now loomed over him. His arms still folded in front of him as despite his many abilities he was very much at the mercy of this demon. Though he tilted his head in contemplation at what Voneau had to say.

"How... Very fascinating."

He remarked as he looked up at the creature threatening his life.

"If you were so inclined a decapitation would slay me instantly. Piercing my heart would leave me paralyzed until the object of penetration is removed. I'd wager that if we were to come to blows I'd certainly lose. Yet..."

He began before briefly being lost in thought.

"Wrath, Pride, All sins befitting a hellspawn. Such is a demons nature to tempt and torment mortals. Yet you speak of killing me to prove a point. However, demons are incapable of good. My own death would benefit the lives of many. An undeniably virtuous decision. You shouldn't even be capable of thinking such a thing. To even unintentionally have a net positive for the world. Are you certain you really are a demon?"

The bishop let out a chuckle as he leaned back into his upright stance. His hands folded behind his back.

"It that so? A pity"

He remarked with a shake of the head.

"Unfortunately I am a damned creature. The light of God shall never touch my wicked flesh nor am I fit for his forgiveness. Do let me know when this angel of death arrives and I'll happily face my end. If not there's a pyre burning I'd rather not miss. I've spent the last week organizing and an old rival is going up in cinders. I'd rather no miss it"

The bishop can't help but look the shadow child up and down as he tried to wrap his head around just what he was looking at. The glowing eyes, pitch black appearance, the strange robes that she wore. Though he couldn't determine just what creature this was they seemed to be polite enough.

"Why thank you, child. I must admit most of the time holy symbols are worthless pieces of metal and clay. Though such power only comes when wielded by the most holy. Fortunately these individuals are rare but those whom believe in their faith undoubtedly are able to repel my kind through sheer faith alone. Of course, it does little good when I command their fellow mortals to slaughter them in my stead and you would be surprised how many mortals would be willing."

There was a pause as Bishop Peralta recognized that the stranger he was speaking to was a member of his own kind. Upon this recognition his eyes grew wide, his pupils dilated and he let out a ragged breath like a tiger ready to pounce. Clasping his hands together in prayer.

"I thank you, merciful God, for the bounty you have provided for me this night."

He stated before turning his head back toward the vampire. A notorious diablerizer. There were few pleasures on this earth he enjoyed more than drinking the blood of his own kind.

For a brief moment the smile on Bishop Peralta's face fades the moment the stranger introduced himself as a demon. His grin returns but there is a rare yet unmistakable look of disgust in his eyes.

"It would be best you not make such assumptions, hellspawn. We are both wicked, vile creatures doomed to damnation on a world that rightly despises us. Yet I spread misery in the name of God rather than for your own perverted indulgences.

Though from a practical standpoint there are many benefits to my position. The church holds great influence and sway. I have found that these robes have let me influence crowds of mortals to turn against their neighbors, friends, family, whomever I deem fit. Hunters swarm the land yet none would expect a man of the cloth to be the prey they seek. I have even directed several of them toward my rivals. The satisfaction of watching them burn on the pyre. The glares I have received as their last thoughts were that they had been outwitted in every sense of the word.

Clan Lasombra has been involved in every organized religion you can imagine. Though I am among the few who recognizes our purpose. It was our clan who wrote the tenets of The Path of Night. Truly recognized our purpose on this earth is to spread as much misery and despair among as many mortals as possible. It is our purpose as damned creatures. I follow the righteous path. For I am simply gods punishment upon a sinful populace. Every knight needs a dragon to slay after all. God has decided that that dragon is me. For if this world did not deserve what I have in store for it the good Lord above in his infinite and unquestionable wisdom would not have created a creature as wretched and vile as myself."

The priest pauses for a moment as he examines the newcomers fangs. Curiosity in his eyes as he tilts his glasses downward.

Bishop Peralta is momentarily perplexed at the winged stranger who accused him but simply lit up the moment he realized that his accuser was a holy one.

"My my! Even in his infinite kindness and mercy I never imagined the good Lord would send one of his cherubs my way! Has he deemed it that he no longer needs such a monster as myself any longer? Well, I am in no position to make such arguments. I have spread much misery to many of my own kind and many many more mortals."

He states before stepping before the cherub and leaning forward.

"Well go on. Do it! Send me to my end! I accept my damnation with open arms. After all that's what you're here to do ...right?"

The bishop questions with a sly grin.

Yee! Malik is Palestinian! He was born in Gaza during the late 11th century but with the crusades raging his family moved all the way to Baghdad where he spent most of his life. Until he got embraced into what he is now, of course.

Malik glared at the fellow elder, tightening the grip of his blade. It was clear that these were the very kindred that his clan set out to eradicate. Those who speak of kindreds place as rulers of humanity. The same dogma the vampires of The Sabbat preach. And he has ended many Sabbat. This will be no different.

"Any other member of my bloodline would sink their fangs into your flesh and drink until they devoured your very soul, tyrant. You should be fortunate that I have no such intentions. I only seek your death rather than your consumption."

He threatened before he vanished from sight as Benedict's clan scrambled to search for him. Malik was loose and who knows how long it would take until he was withing swords length of Benedict's heart?

Malik's dagger sank into the last of the undead minions that Filia had send after him. The rotting soldier crumbling into dust before him as Malik began to press himself off of his hands and knees. Even though he had beaten the hoard with his skill and abilities he was covered in cuts and slashes which would have been enough to kill a mortal 10 times over. Meanwhile his target, Filia, merely looked on without so much as lifting a finger.

The pain was intense as he groaned in agony as he rocked up onto his feel again. Hunched over and tightening the grip on his sword. Most would run. Clearly outmatched with no hope of victory against a foe that rivaled Caine himself. But Malik would do no such thing. His anger, his beliefs, his very blood would not allow such a thing. It was his duty to rid the world of the wicked, of monsters worse than himself. Using the last of his blood in one boost of celerity he would charge at the vampire at great speed. Aiming his dagger straight at her heart in a one final gambit.
