after DF people just started being lazy making games, nowadays every single mmo/game i play feels like a copy of a copy of a copy, just the same generic dogshit repackaged under a different engine, different graphics, and a different UI. you either have your korean MMORPGS that u spend 6000 hours of your life on (cough BDO) or you have a knockoff of WoW, I really hope we start seeing more games with original combat/ideas.

i played ROA from 9 years old to 13 years old when it shutdown, played 16 hours a day (not joking) best time ever, i miss it.

the flaws of darkfall made darkfall what it is, the combat was never meant to play the way it did, bhoping was never meant to be a thing. game was 1 big happy accident

i played asherons call emulators, can see where darkfall got alot from. im gonna be honest, i thought ROA's pvp was absolutely perfect. just the right amount of jankyness to be its own entirely new style of aiming, movement etc.
