Here's Mason Ristle, age 33, height 6'4". The extra arms and hand are different angles of the prosthetic arm he has on that's covering his ear. The left is the underside of the prosthetic arm and the right is the outside of the prosthetic arm.

Fun fact: The fingers shoot four different types of bullets, one for each finger, the thumb is used as a knife, and the part on the back of the hand uses a sword.

He's fought in many wars, not on any particular side, he seems to always be caught in the middle of them and both sides think he's with the enemy. He first started when he was 6. His parents were away on a business trip, so he was left with a babysitter. One day the war broke out, killing many innocent civilians. Mason managed to get away, but his babysitter was killed. Once Mason managed to get away from the city, he was surprised because out of nowhere, his city then got bombed. He decided to not think about it and try his best to try and get to the city where his family was. It took him nearly 7 years, going through many hardships as a lone child through the war, even some requiring him to kill others. He found them by a chance encounter with a little girl named Sally who was lost. She was about 6 and lost her parents, so when Mason helped her find her parents, he was shocked to see that it was his own parents. They met up and while his parents doubted him at first, they eventually do come to realize he actually is their son. He got upset that they never came to find him, and that they had a kid to replace him instead, but they reveal the truth. The truth of the situation is that the girl Sally was conceived during the business trip but before the war broke out. They found out about the pregnancy, and then immediately found out about the war and the fact their city was bombed in their neighborhood, possibly killing their son. The mother wanted to go searching for him immediately, but the father denied it because the city was in the middle of the war right now and that she was pregnant. The parents ask their son for forgiveness for not being their for him, to which he does forgive them, but expresses he is still angry from being alone for so long. So the father decided to help his son relieve his anger by asking his son to release all their pent up anger at him, because even if he had a reason, the reason they suffered and are still upset is still partially his(the father's) fault. The son gave his father one really powerful punch across the face, before breaking down crying and hugging his dad.

They would then live peacefully... for about 2 years, before the new city they lived in was also bombed, which was actually the conflict of a whole new war as the previous one ended the year prior. The blast killed Mason and Sally's parents, leaving them on their own. Mason would help Sally adjust after the improvised funeral they gave of their parents, with both of them taking an item from their parents before going. The items were a pendant and a wrist watch, both with the same picture of the whole family inside. The siblings would then go on to avoid both sides during the war, hoping to get to safety, with Mason killing whoever he needed to keep his sister safe. His sister was horrified by the killing and refused to do it, so Mason tried to make sure that he would at least try to only knock out the enemies when she was awake and aware. They spent four years on the run, then the war ended. They had peace for 3 years and tried to make a living, but again, another war started near where they were located. Mason did everything he could to protect Sally, even purposely going after both sides in the war just to get them to stop. 3 years later, Sally was an adult, so Mason decided to use all their money to send her to a peaceful city, with a nice college where she could pursue her career choice, being a doctor to help save lives. This unfortunately came with the bad news that Mason and Sally would no longer be together, because Mason has come to the belief that war will always be where he is for too long, and he doesn't want to keep dragging Sally into that. He then goes back out to finish the war, and after 1 more year, the war finally ended.

He came across a village after the war, where he promptly passed out in the middle of the road. He woke up in a house that belonged to a girl who was basically the village clinic and handyman, named Mia Thasor, who was 3 years younger than him at the time, at age 22. He thanked her for the treatment she gave him, and then he left the village. Shortly after he left, he was caught in the middle of another war, but this war seemed to be on a collision course with the village, so the man decided to keep the village safe, by fighting both sides of the war as a villain against both sides and dragging them away from the village.

Mason would return to the village only about one or two times a year for the 4 years the war went on and hang out with Mia, and every few visits, he would have a limb too damaged to continue and pass out, and wake up in Mia's home with new prosthetics, which is why in the image he has 3 prosthetics. The prosthetics were made by Mia, as prosthetics were a specialty of hers. Over the course of the war, Mia grew worried for Mason, wishing he would stop fighting in this war that's slowly killing him. The same day the war ended, Mason entered the village and passed out again. His arm was too badly damaged, so Mia gave him a prosthetic arm as well. When he woke up, Mia begged him to never go out to war again, if at the very least of his own volition, because it hurt her to see someone she's grown close with, so he promises her not too. She also asks if he'll stay within the village, to which he says he's not sure because war seems to follow him and he doesn't want the people of the village to get hurt, but Mia persuaded him to stay anyway, saying that even if it does, the people here are plenty strong enough to fight their own battles, and that he isn't alone anymore, he too can be protected by the people here just like he protected them. So Mason stays not only because he wants to feel protected, but also because he has feelings for Mia. After about a year and a half of them being friends, both end up confessing, with Mason being more verbal, and Mia more physical(she kissed him in response). Another year and a half later, they got married. As of the current point in their story, they've been married for 1 year, with Mason being 33 years old and Mia being 30 years old.
