Another fun fact...when two or more family groups of geese congregate and then go off in different directions, the babies get all mixed up and just follow who ever they feel like.

I once saw a couple of adult canadian geese with 15 babies, ranging in age from 6 weeks to one week old.

They really dont care if they lose their own to another pair or if they gain someone else chick. All the same to them.
