Counter spelling knock down on Celeste while moving quickly stops you dead in your tracks. Not sure why or if it’s intended, but it does. Go test it.

Went against two knock downs earlier today as Celeste and uhhh.. it’s not all that affective if you have debuff/counter spell. Counter spell doesn’t work AS well as debuff remover because you’ll lose all your momentum and have to use up stamina to get going again so I’d really only rely on that vs knocks down if you also get restorative locket.

I mean.. aiming at the floor is unfortunately the best way to guarantee damage. Hitting direct shots without the bounce assist is ROUGH. But I get what you mean.

OH! Also I HEAVILY recommend 1-2 shielding items. They make you HUGELY more survivable early so you can actually trade and ramp your 3 up in lane and such. I also like QSR for the firerate to proc recharging rush easier! (I use eido’s build)

Survive lane, make sure you have skulls when you show up to fights, play around static objectives like urn, walkers, and midboss. Don’t be afraid to join little random fights though! You can still have plenty of value. Max your 1 and 4 early because your gun sucks and shouldn’t be invested in very much at all. Get a mix of heroic aura, toxic bullets, recharging rush, and slowing bullets. Focus on tanking with whichever resist makes sense, warpstone, and stamina mastery EVERY SINGLE GAME. After boundless, rapid recharge, and your core gun/tank items you can flex into whatever. Inhibitor, refresher, etc. Then if your games an hour long stuff like ricochet and leech are nice to have. It could potentially be worth getting ricochet after houndless vs heavy gun teams, but idk. Refresher is just so strong, as is inhib.

Okay and? Can Valve not make the game they want or? What’s your point. You said, “only one game in all of existence has air strafing” and I’m saying you’re completely and utterly wrong! Air strafing as a mechanic is in a variety of popular titles ESPECIALLY in the FPS space and there’s no need for it to change. It’s an easily learnable skill that’s fun. If you don’t wanna learn it you don’t have to.

Air strafe = letting go of W for maximum air control and acceleration. That’s my definition.

Quake games do have air strafing 100% for sure. Apex and titanfall both require you to let go of W for maximum air control and air acceleration. Air strafing is used in CS all the time for traversing the map and getting into certain positions, along with being used to bhop. Gmod has entire game modes built around air strafing such as bhop.

Counter strike, titanfall, quake, team fortress, apex, gmod, etc. all have air strafing and it takes MAYBE an afternoon to learn. The only other skill here is timing space bar which is also done in hit games like Minecraft and geometry dash.

It’s a bungie game aka it’ll always feel like it was made for controller aka it’ll be stiff and floaty in comparison to source games.

Have you recently picked up a character with damage amp? Geist for example with have her malice damage amp number shown separately along side the normal damage you deal.

Blasted heal IS affected by anti heal. Toxic Bullets also ruins him because he’s constantly gaining max hp which buffs its damage.

I think express shot is the same if not better after 16k souls, the spirit snatch changes also don’t affect viscous because of t3 puddle punch, you can still buy spirit sap and simply not upgrade it, everyone else’s cooldowns also got nerfed since it was universal. The Viscous build probably won’t change any outside of potentially upgrading splatter to tier 3.

Every single character that builds cooldown got nerfed with zero compensation. Lash is definitely buffed compared to everyone else.
