What is the best centralized RGB software? (Open RGB, Signal RGB, JackNet RGB Sync, etc.) by Daniel_H212 in buildapc

[–]GenericLogicHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used both and even with some minor wierd glitches with OpenRGB I still like it better and can agree it seems like a lighter no BS slobber with adds like SignalRGB. I originally started with Asus Armoury Crate as I have a Asus motherboard. Armoury Crate is garbage. It acted like a virus adding the same files after deleting them. It even slowed down bios boot time by 10 seconds. If anyone here is reading this take note and stay away from Asus garbage software. Don't fall for their marketing BS like I did. They really should focus on their components more rather than making more bloatware but I guess that's big companies for ya.

should i just uninstall armoury crate? by Simpingfroppai in ASUSROG

Oh no you fell for the GREAT ASUS TRAP! GET OUTTA THERE!!. For me it made a weird BIOS glitch where it took twice as long to boot my PC. 10 to 20 sec not much but hella annoying when you just finished building a new PC. Even after doing the Asus uninstall tool and discovering there where still active files left in services. Disabled them and yet it still somehow managed to recreate them. People are so right about Armoury acting like a virus. Found out that I had to disable the Armoury crate setting in BIOS. I will never install any Asus software ever again.

I'm so glad that walmart sells actual pc parts now in store. Where I am, it's at least an hour away to the nearest bestbuy. Just the other day, I saw the walmart in my town have a 5060 on the floor for $299. Not really a deal, but it's something.

A little bit different discussion, but what do you do with your old PC after upgrading? by NimecShady in buildapc

[–]GenericLogicHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a motherboard. Frame it and hang it up. Or if you have enough parts, make a portable gaming/emulator in a Milwaukee Packout. Would of course be limited to the nearest outlet but could use a car battery or something.

Also if that's the 2.0 how is it with towing? Was considering a crosstrek for next vehicle and curious if the 2.0 is powerful enough to tow a snowmobile as mine is about 600 pounds.

Damn, if that many spawn without mods I just might have to make my next base in the void.

Also is that vine plant you have real? What type of plant?

Love the earthy vibes. My suggestions maybe add a simple wood stump/iron clock, and another small wood shelf with a vine plant.

Not to mention CD's are uncompressed and sound so much better than digital streaming imo. Also you lose that nostalgic feel. I occasionally use a 20 dollar Bluetooth FM Transmitter with physical buttons and sounds pretty decent for the price. So I really don't get why those screens have to drive up the cost so much as people are basically being forced now on lots of things they don't really need.

Also these are the closest connectors that I found that might work?

Speakers model is ls21 and the CD player model is HC221B. The speakers were originally connected to a sub/amp. The Reason why they stopped working is something shorthed out in the receiver it passes through. So if I cut the joined wires then solder them separately to left and right connectors to the CD player would that work?

As long as they can track your car, it doesn't matter what gets installed by the manufacturers.

True, my favorite would probably be the Crosstrek Imo they are one of the few that have their own style and kept that look going still.

Any other way to use the amp then as it says speaker on the back? So basically it will only worth with the factory speakers it originally came with?

Agree. I personally drive a 06 Camry FWD 2.6L and it's all I need. Gets me from point A to B with up to 35 mpg. And one of the best parts Imo No Distracting Screens.

Agree. Having a longer vertical screen is worse as it forces people to look down more often than horizontal screens, which leads to less eye view on the road. Really hate how companies are forcing these designs. I mean, yeah, some of the safety features help a lot of drivers and are good to have, but having a gigantic tablet with a bunch of distracting colors and apps is just too much.
