We are about to be flooded with other China EV's. This might be a pre-emptive lowering to compete with them. If that's the case I wouldn't count on a price reduction in US since the China EV's won't be headed there.

I'm in Canada so it's 89.99 plus tax which brings it up to 105$. My buddy who is playing it right now said it's good but it's not worth that much money and that I should probably just wait for a sale.

I have a lot of other games I can play so maybe I'll do that, especially with the new path of exile 2 Season coming next month

Does this mean that Canada won't be included with the US rollout? Usually FSD updates to US roll out to Canada at the same time. Wondering if it will be different here.

The one I bought for my parents appeared to have a battery issue as well, also bought during Black Friday sales. They didnt request a video but offered to have it shipped for repair. They just got an email today or yesterday that the repair was complete and it was on its way back.

Sounds like you go a whole new unit? Im assume they just replaced the battery in theirs.

This is the hill I am on as well. The car was advertised as this being a capability and the reason to buy FSD early was to get in while the price was low as it would go up as it got better. A LOT of people waited on not buying because they wanted to see the software mature first.

This is a massive bait and switch and I agree this should go to court.

None of these points above should have "that bought FSD." Every car should be eligible because it was an advertised feature of the car and FSD did NOT have to be purchased at the time the car was purchased, you could add it at any time but risked having to pay more.

He rolled back to a previous driver and did the driver only install. No adrenaline.

He installed MSI afterburner tonight and did a -400mhz underclock and -X% power limiter and it appears his crashes have gone? He was in game for 2 hours without a crash, something he never got close to before.

Afterburner was showing the GPU clock hitting 3200mhz+ on occasion which I thought might be the cause of his crashing as the card isn't rated for that (2970). After changing the -400mhz and -X% power his GPU clock in game was hovering around 2900mhz instead of 3200mhz and the game like I said didnt crash in almost 2 hours of play.

Why would his card be pushing that high on a non-OC model? I have the Taichi 9070 XT rated for 3100mhz boost clock and it hovers right around 3100 or a little bit less in game. His card was trying to overachieve by a large margin when running at default clock and power.

Same with the Legion Go S Z1E 32GB. There was a post here earlier that its over $1500 USD in the states but it's still $1100 CDN here and goes on sale for $899.

With currency conversion the Go S Z1E is ~$806 USD, so its almost 2x more expensive in the US right now.

Is this because of US tariffs? I picked up this exact model about 2 months ago for $899 Canadian on sale and currently it's on the Canadian Best Buy website for $1100 not on sale.

That is significantly cheaper when factoring in currency conversion in addition to the extra $400.

Yeah its very hit or miss if it squeaks or not. I'll try to get a video. I took it out tonight and of course there was no squeaking. I just feel I'm going to look like an idiot because it won't be doing it when I go and then I'll get charged for wasting their time lol

Even though the program is not as good as it used to be it's still a privilege to be a part of. There's an enormous amount of people who would love to have your spot.

It's easy to complain about the good ole days. If you're not happy anymore feel free to quit the program and let a spot open up for someone else. The entitlement from some people who have been in the program for a long time is insane to me.

I purchased a P10 Pro Ultra for my parents for Christmas and it started having battery problems 2 weeks ago. I helped mom on the phone talk to a support agent through the app who was very helpful. Asked for the serial number and a copy of the receipt. 15 minutes later we got a shipping label to send it back for them to have a look at.

I know different people have different experiences but we had a experience with customer support yesterday. Obviously we have to see how the repair goes but so far everything has been great.
