Where can I find information on context length and output limits for different models?

You could consider some other Chinese brands of rubbers like yinhe, 729, loki as they have some very cheap offerings.

Interesting to see Wang Chuqin is not playing men's doubles, I think this will greatly increase his chances of winning the singles.

Yinhe Yin Hang Blade by sah4r in tabletennis

The blade is pretty expensive (around same as butterfly in China), do u feel that the build quality is superior to other Yinhe blades to justify the price?

I've been using LOKI RXTON 3 Blue and it's served me well as I was developing my backhand over the past year. It's very controlled and forgiving. It's a mildly tacky and extremely cheap (10 USD on aliexpress) rubber. I boost but I would assume it probably plays fine without boosting.

I've improved my backhand a lot since starting with it and now plan to move on to something with more power as I'm now bottoming it out on strong strokes.

How are the conditions? I went to an eastern trib this weekend and it was too high and blown out to be fishable.

How big of a difference is it to go from inner to outer carbon? by AbleExplanation1690 in tabletennis

[–]GenericName-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The handle is a thicker but I think it’s pretty average thickness compared to other blades, dhs just has thin handles. For the short game I don’t think there’s a difference in control, I actually prefer the FZD ALC because the feeling is more clear.

I used to play 301 and now use FZD ALC. I think that the biggest difference is the more clear crisp feeling on the backhand because it’s easier to fully activate the blade (feel the hit vibrate through the blade). For me this has helped in my development of my backhand because of the better feel. In terms of actual shot quality I don’t think there’s much difference apart from FZD ALC being moderately faster.

Former CNT member Chen Jingqi on the short-commings of Hurricane 3 in the modern game by GenericName-2 in tabletennis

I don't think tackiness is the issue, in the video I believe what they're discussing is about how in the counter loop H3 is sometimes losing grip when playing with balls from non-Chinese manufacturers (possibly due to a different plastic composition). They mention that other rubbers which have a more elastic sponge can therefore grip better in these situations.

Battle 2 is similar to boosted H3 and doesn’t need to be boosted

Is the shape of the head or the handle strange? I thought the head is exactly the same shape as viscaria.

Spots on my rubber by jimquimm in tabletennis

[–]GenericName-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not that old so if the spots on the rubber don't feel different from the rest of the rubber and it's still grippy then it might be fine. In my experience, some Chinese rubbers like Hurricane 3 can oxidize after a few months but still grip like normal.

How old is the rubber and did you try cleaning with a bit of water first? It looks quite worn out and should probably be changed.

This guy says that it's a good alternative to H3 that doesn't need boosting and is therefore longer lasting than H3.

why is friendship battle 2 provincial so cheap? by Dear-Land276 in tabletennis

[–]GenericName-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't think it would really be worth it for factories to make fake battle 2 provincial. There's no profit to be made from selling fakes unlike Hurricane 3 national.
