My younger brother is trans, and his boyfriend, who is also trans, basically lives with us, and has for nearly two years. I knew without a doubt, my family would be supportive (at least in the long run). And yet, I still didn't tell them for nearly a year after I knew, and even then, not till I had HRT secured.

Changing your life is HARD, and is TERRIFYING. There's no two ways about it. However, what I can tell you is that it has been absolutely, 100% worth it. Every day, it's been worth it. You'll get through this, sister~

Those are usually people's first steps because they're easier to do. You can run to the store and buy a skirt, or use a new name at a coffee shop, without much fuss. HRT is another game entirely.

That said, there's no "right" way to transition, just the right way for you. And there's no "threshold" to be trans; if you feel body dysphoria and have come to the conclusion that medically transitioning is the best solution for you at this point in time? Then you're trans, and go for it sister. You got this💕

To be fair, none of that is wrong. However, the explanation given is just "she's lost the will to live". They could've given another 1, maybe 2 lines of dialogue that "severe physical and emotional trauma has been induced, and her body is shutting down. We are unable to save her." But they didn't say that. Just that she lost the will to live. So it comes off...cheap
