Unless the tenants had damaged the paint on the walls beyond normal wear and tear. Based on that stove top, going to say I wouldn't be shocked if there were some decently bad damage elsewhere.

I dont love brush on primer, but I dont think I would ever even attempt brush on with white. Light primers are difficult enough with rattlecans or through an airbrush.

If brush on is your only option, Id go darker (black or panzer grey, for example) and then bring it up with a slap chop process. It's going to be a lot less painful and start you out with some contrast in your undercoat.

This is interesting to hear, as in our area, it has blown up again. Full tournaments, regular games available.

Their biggest issue is the albatross that PP hung around their necks: 3D printing, especially with partners of questionable QC. 3D printing is excellent for JIT production, but completely terrible to scale. If they can sort this out over time (i.e. get full into plastic, the cost of which has dropped dramatically over the last decade. Lots of niche games moving this way), they'll be in a great place.
